Seminyak

Out of the hustle and bustle, located on Bali’s South West coast just North of Legian and Kuta is stylish Seminyak. Popular with tourists of all ages, Seminyak provides the hub of shopping, dining and entertainment. Whether it be the thrill of a bargain with market bartering, that special boutique discovery, a sumptuous meal with an ice cold beverage or a refreshing dip in the ocean, Seminyak offers these options and more, all within close proximity. It is a lively and bustling area with the best of Bali shopping and a variety of dining options.  Enjoy the flavours  of France at Sip, add a touch of heat with a curry at Queens Tandoor  or sample local Indonesian fare at Made’s Warung  . If you prefer something more simplistic, feel the sand between your toes whilst savouring a sate and watching the waves roll in at Double 6 beach.  Take an evening stroll down Jalan Laksmana (popularly referred to as “Eat Street”) and you’ll find  a dining option to suit even the most discerning palate. There are a multitude of villas, hotels and luxury spa retreats in Seminyak offering easy access (and many within walking distance!) to everything this central locale has to offer, making it one of Bali’s most popular destinations.

Petitenget

Fine dining, beach clubs, dancing and decadent spas – Petitenget has all of this and more! A beachside  precinct located just north of Seminyak, popular Petitenget has enjoyed positive growth over the last few years, now connecting almost seamlessly to Seminyak, but offering a slightly slower pace. Reasonably compact, the area is easy to navigate on foot, by scooter or by taxi and the less crowded, Petitenget Beach is never more than a few minutes away! Petitenget’s popularity has grown substantially of late due to newcomers such as Potato Head Beach Club,  the  W Hotel and Barbacoa along with dining favourites such as Sarong, Metis, La Lucciola and Sardine. Add to the mix an eclectic selection of boutiques, delis and coffee corners,  the area has become the perfect destination  to dine and dance away the evening followed by a lazy brunch and shop the following day. With many of our villas just steps from the beach and a short walk to popular haunts such as Ku deTa and Biku along with the  family friendly Cubby House Kids Club, Petitenget ticks all the boxes for that perfect holiday with all the trimmings!

Canggu

Rolling surf, relaxing beach strolls and rice paddies sets Canggu apart from  the mayhem of  its Southern counterparts.  Located just twenty minutes to the north of Seminyak, Canggu retains its village like atmosphere while still offering spectacular options for accommodation. Choose a beachfront property and check out the swell from your balcony or be mesmerized by the emerald green of the surrounding rice paddies. Indulge in an after surf breakfast at Deus   or select from the many mouthwatering menu items at Betelnut   cafe; a favourite with locals and tourists alike. For the ultimate in beachfront, sunset seafood BBQs, head down to  Echo Beach and get “far away in time” at the Beach House Hotel .  Canggu offers more of that authentic Bali feeling, still within half an hour of the madding crowd of Kuta!  A location of choice for those travelers looking for something a little more tranquil and low key, Canggu allows a true glimpse into local Balinese life.

Umalas

Looking for that little enclave of serenity with the convenience of Seminyak shopping and dining just ten minutes drive down the road? Umalas is the obvious choice. Popular with locals and visitors alike, this area offers that safe, family friendly atmosphere with minimal traffic and maximum relaxation. Umalas has become a highly sought after location due to an increasing number of cleverly designed and classy villas emerging in the area.  Browse a selection of cosy warungs (cafes) such a Geulis and Global, offering quality Indonesian and international fare along Jalan Bumbak, or sample a New York style burger with a twist at funky newcomer Habitual. Opportunities for massages and facials abound with a spa around every corner! For those looking for that ‘home away from home’ feel, Umalas offers a tranquil, yet convenient option.

Uluwatu

Minutes from some of the best breaks in the world, Uluwatu is hugely popular amongst keen surfers. Feel like you are on the edge of  paradise with million dollar ocean views as far as the eye can see.  Nearby attractions include the amazing Pura Luhur Uluwatu temple, perched on the edge of a spectacular cliff face and home to a colony of cheeky monkeys, or Padang Padang, a secluded little surfing and swimming cove and setting for the movie ‘Eat Pray Love’. Whether you crave the elegance of up market restaurant Cire or the simplicity of surfers’ fare and cocktails with a view at Single Fin, you are sure to find a suitable dining option. Uluwatu is on Bali’s southernmost tip and faces out to the Indian Ocean. Villas here encapsulate local traditions along with the breathtaking natural beauty of an area that is largely unspoiled.

Sanur

Known as one of the  original resort areas of Southern Bali, Sanur offers a quiet contrast to the frantic pace of Kuta. Batu Belig

A prime beachfront location and only minutes from popular Seminyak, Batu Belig makes for an ideal base to explore the best of the dining, nightlife and shopping experiences that Bali has to offer. A relative newcomer in the popularity stakes, Batu Belig has recently emerged as a dining and shopping destination in its own right with popular eateries such as rib joint, Naughty Nuris and coffee and lunch favourite, Watercress. Ubud

Known for many years as the cultural hub of the island, Ubud is located in the central region of Bali and is a popular choice for those looking for an alternative to surfer heaven. Tanah Lot

Situated on the South West coast of Bali, Tanah Lot is at its heart a large rock formation, providing the back drop for one of the most spectacular sunsets on the island.  Pura Tanah Lot, the Pilgrimage Temple is a highly unique landmark.  Accessible only at low tide, the temple is a sought after location if you are wishing to embrace your spiritual side with a blessing or for those seeking a stunning sunset photo opportunity. Restaurants and cafes offering amazing vantage points are dotted along the clifftop and there are also many markets to pass by as you enter Tanah Lot. Kuta

Kuta, famous for its surf beaches, bars and many restaurants, is possibly the most well known among visitors to Bali. A highly developed area, Kuta is at the heart of the action. Browse the miles of hawker stalls for that obligatory souvenir or Bintang singlet, or make your way to the airconditioned shopping mecca of Beachwalk, complete with cinema complex and beachfront dining options perfect for watching the world go by. Check out a live band at the Hard Rock Hotel or settle in for the afternoon with an exotic island cocktail at Rosso Vivo to watch the waves roll in.  Kuta is a popular location for those seeking budget to mid range accommodation choices, however the area also boasts some exclusive private villas offering an idyllic retreat with all of the action merely minutes away!

Legian

Just North of Kuta and still with all the action at your doorstep, Legian is a slightly less intense beachfront alternative to Kuta. Another area popular with surfers and shoppers alike, Legian beach offers a perfect place to enjoy the sunset and relax with a cool beverage at the many friendly beach bars!  Shoppers will not be disappointed as Legian still boasts many a market stall along with chic boutiques to while away the hours. Step outside your villa oasis and  choose from dining options such as Italian favourite, Mozzarella, Lemongrass for lovers of Thai food and Moo Moos for those looking to satisfy the urge for a hearty steak. Lower key and more relaxed, Legian still offers an impressive selection of amenities such as bars and spas and ample options for people watching!

Jimbaran

Located just ten minutes from the airport and South of Kuta, Jimbaran is another tempting beachfront locale. With clear calm waters superb for swimming, endless restaurants dotted along the bay offering the freshest of seafood BBQs and some exquisite villas boasting million dollar ocean views, Jimbaran offers a serene option for your Bali beachfront getaway. Nusa Lembongan

Nusa Lembongan is a popular escape for those looking for an alternative island getaway. Just 45 minutes by fast  boat from Bali,  this small island  boasts a more relaxing atmosphere  with clear blue waters and long stretches of quiet, white beaches.    Laid back, yet still offering accommodation options from modest to magnificent, Nusa Lembongan  is perfect for those looking to escape completely from the hustle and bustle of Bali’s main tourist centres. Hire a scooter to navigate the island or  grab a  mask and fins and make your acquaintance with the local marine life as you  lazily snorkel  around the many secluded bays surrounding the island.    Easy to get there  but difficult to leave, Nusa Lembongan  is the place to  be for relaxation, surfing, snorkelling and diving.

Nusa Dua

Located in  Southern Bali, Nusa Dua is known  is  known for its top class    hotels and resorts, many of which are located in a secure gated precinct and offering some of the finest dining options on the island.  Indulge in a decadent Sunday brunch at  Boneka  at the St Regis Hotel or try  Japanese cuisine at Benkay at Nikko Bali Resort.  Test your golfing skills at the newly renovated  Nusa Dua Golf and County Club  or keep the  kids entertained with  activities at Pirates Bay, a family friendly activity area offering dining, a tree house and flying fox rides for the little ones! Beaches in Nusa Dua  are spectacular and  are  some of Bali’s safest for swimming. Approximately 25 minutes from Kuta,  Nusa Dua is the perfect  location from which to base your  Bali exploration with most popular tourist spots within an hour’s reach of your villa.

Candi Dasa

Escape from the rat race and head toward Candi Dasa, a relaxing quiet beach village located on the Eastern coast of the island. Candi Dasa is a perfect location for  those who love to scuba dive, the area being renowned for some of the best dive sites on the island. Villas here offer the ultimate in privacy and relaxation and an opportunity to indulge in a luxurious escape. Gili T

The  largest  in a triplet of islands affectionately known as “The Gillis”, Gili Trawangan (Gili T) was originally popular with partygoers and  provided mostly ‘rustic’ backpacker style accommodation. Not so in recent years as the idyllic isle now offers a whole range of accommodation options from hostels to sprawling estates with spectacular beachfront vistas. Due to local laws prohibiting motorised vehicles on the islands, transportation is delightfully restricted to  the use of bicycles and gitimos (horse and cart). The island can be effortlessly circumnavigated  on  bicycle in less than an hour as you simultaneously marvel at the spectacular scenery whilst getting your daily fitness fix!  Dining and entertainment options abound and you can mix  it with the  crowd at the Irish Pub  and any of the  numerous  venues offering  that exciting party atmosphere or sip a fabulous cocktail creation at  elegant  Pearl Beach Club.
